Scott Brown is President and Chief Creative Officer of The Company of Others.
Scott has always been underwhelmed by the name Scott Brown. After receiving a degree in business from Rice University he set out to create award-winning campaigns he hoped would outshine it. He has. Having been a creative director at Tocquigny, a top digital agency, and Barkley, the Kansas City-based creative agency, Scott returned to Houston where the humidity is ideal for preserving accolades from organizations such as Communication Arts and One Show.
Scott considers the transformation of his current agency home, FKM, into The Company of Others evidence that brands, especially an agency’s own brand, should live and think ahead of trend. The Company of Others makes other brands relevant by giving future trends scale.
In 2012, Scott and company appeared on AMC’s The Pitch, winning agency of record responsibilities for Clockwork Home Services. Since then, Scott has been leading the formation of an alliance of culture creators across technology, food, art, fashion, social media, and music. Scott leads innovation and account planning initiatives for brands collaborating with these culture creators.
Scott lives in Houston with his wife and their two children, neither of whom is named Scott Brown.
